About the Centre
In 1990 the old bonded warehouse that encircles the local Mint Castle was carefully restored by Tom & Mary McArdle and converted into Carlingford Adventure Centre, offering you the perfect mix of medieval character with modern comfortable facilities. Accessible Location We are based in Carlingford, Co. Louth, approximately one hours drive from both Dublin Airport and Belfast City.

We are easy to get to
Carlingford Adventure Centre is based in the Republic of Ireland -Tholsel Street, Carlingford, Co. Louth - just 65 miles from Dublin and 50 miles from Belfast.
The village of Carlingford is situated on the beautiful Cooley Peninsula, at the foot of Slieve Foy Mountain on the southern shores of Carlingford Lough.
The Centre
We are ideally placed in the village centre just a short walk to both mountain and sea. Pass through the medieval Tholsel archway and you will find us on Tholsel Street, right beside the Mint Medieval Townhouse.
