The site now has a host of new areas and applications to meet all you Scuba Diving On-Line needs. We have our members area that allows you to post your blogs, join the Muff Diving Club, upload pictures of you and your friends Muff Diving,

We've also introduced a secure, online shop that allows you purchase everything from you own Muff Diving T-Shirt, to personalised mugs, hats, etc. So if you're looking for a trip to Ireland and you fancy some diving, then Muff is the place for you, and this site is where you start.

Muff Diving
Whether for individuals or groups, we should have the diving expericence for you. We will be introducing our seasons schedule very shortly so please keep an eye on our Muff Diving section on a regular basis.

Courses

• PADI Discover SCUBA Diver
• The PADI Discover Scuba course allows you to experience the underwater world.
• Breathing effortlessly and watching the amazing marine life that frequents the piers around Muff Bay.
• Pre requisites
  • No Diver Medical Required, however, a signed disclaimer is required.
  • Minimum of 12 years of age for open water dive

Course Details
This underwater adventure will take half a day. Come into the shop and complete the paperwork and learn some basic theory on the underwater environment. Then it’s off to one of the local piers to learn some safety skills with you instructor and experience weightlessness on an underwater tour.
Some of the skills you will learn, include:

• Mask and Regulator Clearing
• Regulator Recovery
• Relaxing while breathing underwater
• Equalisation techniques

 PADI Open Water Diver
Muff offers a fantastic variety of dives sites for you to explore. You will have the opportunity to discover a world of caves and shipwrecks and see some fabulous and stunning marine life. On completion of the course you will be qualified to dive anywhere in the world to a depth of 18 metres.
Pre requisites
• Minimum age is 15 years.
• You need to be comfortable in the water, able to swim 200 metres and tread water for 10 minutes.
• Your own mask, snorkel, boots and fins (available to students at discounted prices)

Course Details
PADI Open Water Courses are usually run over two consecutive weekends with a maximum of six participants per instructor. Four day courses are available during school holidays. If you would like to learn to dive with your own personal instructor, call us to make arrangements.
Day What you can expect to cover:
1 You will spend day one reviewing PADI course knowledge and information which you have completed at home.
2 We will take you to a local pool to learn the skills you will need for your safety while open water diving.
3 You will be doing two dives under Muff Pier where you will see some fantastic marine life at a depth of 4 – 5 metres
