Centre Details

Gartan Outdoor Education Centre is superbly located, set on 87 acres on the shores of Gartan Lough, 15 minutes from Letterkenny, Co Donegal, Ireland. Our courses are suitable for primary schools, secondary schools, youth groups/clubs, 3rd Level, families, corporate and Individuals.
Once a working farm, and known locally as Lough Veagh Estate and House, it gave its name to our Boathouse. As we get used to our new sustainable energy boiler, it is out intention to grow our own willow on the Estate, thus providing our own fuel.

Courses

We run courses on a residential and non residential basis, 7 days a week, all year round.

Other Activities

The Centre provides a wide range of Adventure Sports Activities, Environmental Education Courses, Team Building, Management Training and Adventure Sports Training.
