About The Oysterhaven Centre

The Centre was founded almost thirty years ago by owners Oliver and Kate, as Ireland’s first windsurfing centre.

As Ireland’s first ever National Windsurfing Trainer, Oliver was at the cutting edge of the sport and was involved in the development of the syllabus for the Irish Sailing Association’s “Go! Windsurfing” scheme.  Learning through fun and coaching with positive reinforcement are key features of this scheme.

Oysterhaven is still run as a family business with Oliver and Kate’s grown up children instructing during the summer months.

Windusrfing Courses
Courses for Adults and Children include;
- Get Up and Go Taster
- Go For It! Master the Basics
- Private Tuition

Other Activities
Dingy Sailing, Sea kayaking, Multi-Activity Camps 

Accomodation
Oysterhaven Holiday Cottages are available to rent through the Centre and are located overlooking the bay of Oysterhaven.Each 3 bed roomed cottage is built in a traditional style on a sheltered and elevated site with views of Oysterhaven.

Shop
There is no formal shop however from time to time the Centre sells off kit.
